I recently read a blog that had listed 7 things we would never know about them. So I decided to list my own.. here goes.
1. I got married at 18. Yes, its true.. I got married about 3 months after I graduated high school. Yes, I was immature and too young but I took my vows seriously and still do. When I said "till death do us part" I meant it! My husband and I are "growing up" together and we are so much more mature and grown up then we were three years ago. Believe me!! lol I am so happy that God brought us together and now we have two beautiful children and the promise of more to come.
2. I love motorsports. I grew up around working and racing cars. I can change my own oil, spark plugs, air filters, oil filters, batteries, tires, brakes.. you name it on a car and I can do it. I love watching Nascar and drag racing. I am not your average girl! I have been to many Nascar and drag races and not the local ones the BIG ONES. I just went last Friday to a drag race that almost shakes you out of your seat, the cars go about 330 MPH.
3. I have a little brother named David. Well, he's little to me. He graduated high school in May and turned 18 in July. He bought a brand new Harley and he has two jobs. He is going to school in the spring to be an engineer. He is a tight wad, he only buys what he really needs. I love him!
4. I love watching old 90's shows.. such as Family Matters, Saved by the Bell, Fresh Prince & Home Improvement to name a few. LOVE, LOVE THEM! In fact I am listening to the TV which is playing Family Matters. They don't make good, wholesome shows like this anymore. Most shows that kids watch today talk about sex and drugs. These shows WARNED about sex and drugs. Anyway, I love 'em.
5. Favorite color is blue.
6. I have 5 generations alive right now. My Great Grandma Frady is alive, then my Grandma Frady, then my mom, me and Scarlett. We were in our local paper for having 5 generations living. Its pretty cool I got to meet both my great grandparents. Oh by the way, my Great Grandma Clifton is still living too and she acts like a 30 year old. Does all her own laundry and hangs them on the line. She doesn't rely on a walker or cane. She still cooks everything from scratch and she loves the Lord with all her heart.
7. Last but not least... I have flipped a car. I had a wreck when I was changing the radio station in my car at 16 years old. I looked down for literally one second and as I looked up I realized I was rolling up side down. I flipped 3 times and broke both my arms. I had to be in a cast for about 3 months. It was horrible but now my parents and I look back and laugh. I had my seat belt on and nobody was on the road that day when I was driving it. God was with me even though I was so far from him. Praise the Lord for His grace.

7 Things You Wouldn't Necessarily Know About Me

Cute website, I wish you well. Sorry i got a kick out of you saying you like to watch "OLD" '90's sitcoms LOL That made me feel old. I don't consider the '90's old. I consider the 60' and '70's and possibly the 80's old. But then I am old enough to be your mom. My kids range in age from 12 to 21. I got married at 21 and have been happily married to the same man for 22 years. I think marrying young can be a good thing, you come into it with a lot less baggage and are usually less set in your ways. That is just my humble opinion. However I have a brother-in-law who waited to get married till he was 47 and married my sister in law who was 39 at the time. First marriage for both and then had a baby (first baby for both too) so now they have a 3 year old at home and she is 42 (only a year younger than me) and my brother-in -law will be 51 this December. Anyway I have no regrets at all marrying young. Although I wish i had had more kids. I miss not having little one around. Have a great and blessed day. Deeny ;-)
Cute blog! I got married at 19 (my husband was 32). We have been married for 8 years now and have 3 children. I like that I got married young, I wonder what I would have done with my time had I not married right away.
I didn't mean OLD OLD LOL! I remember watching them when they were actually airing the shows. Of course I was probably like 10 or 11 at the time.. haha. I knew I loved my husband so why wait?? If its God's Will and everything is set up in your life, I say go ahead. And thats what we did!
