Andrew is 21 months and Scarlett is 7 months old. She is starting to sit up and crawl. Andrew can now say dog, pizza and of course more. So far thats it for him, I was worried about him for a while because he wasn't saying anything except Mama and Dada. Oh and he can say Amen! After we say our prayers LOL I love it. Re-Baptism & Vow Renewals
Candy posted a blog today about re-baptisms and vow renewals. Her thoughts were that she meant her vows the first time why renew them? On baptism she said when you are saved you get baptized there are no "re-baptisms" end of story. That is my belief also. When you get baptized its symbolic of your new life in Christ. There is no reason to get baptized again. Getting baptized does not get saved or get to you to heaven but baptism is a biblical principal.
Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
In Romans 6:3-5 the Apostle Paul is teaching that baptism is a symbol of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus hence our new life in Christ.
Romans 6:3-5
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: (KJV)
Jesus himself says that you must be saved and then baptized. Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. We are to follow Jesus in everything and obey his Word. He was baptized and the Bible also states about baptism. We should be baptized only once. Jesus did not get baptized two or three times, the scripture reads that Jesus was baptized only once so this is the principal we are follow.

Children's Chores
I have never thought of my children as a burden. That said, Andrew has always helped me in the house. He has watched me pick up, vacuum, do the dishes, sweep etc. When he was about 9 months old and pulling up. He would pull up on the dishwasher door and watch put the dishes in and as soon as he could walk he started helping unload the dishwasher. I was so amazed when his little hands handed me the plastic bowl ( I don't let him take glass out or silverware). But then my mom reminded me that he had been watching me for months so he should know what to do! Now he always helps me and I have scheduled him for his chores. He picks up his toys (which we are still learning because sometimes he refuses too, he is VERY strong willed!) helps me unload and load the dishwasher, I pick him up and let him put the dirty clothes in the washer and when the washer is done I put the wet clothes in a basket and he puts them in the dryer and (slams!) the door closed. Oh and he also puts the dryer sheet in LOL. He is so smart and helpful. Some of the other moms think I am crazy because they say they can get it done faster without the kids. But I think when he is older he will have it down pat and I won't have to keep checking him if he is doing it right! So what if it takes me a few minutes longer to load the dryer because he is running around the house throwing wet clothes everywhere because he thinks its funny! I will just teach him again that we put the wet clothes IN the dryer and we don't run around the house with them. Thats my blog for today, have a happy prayer service tonight!

Happy Monday!
You know when you just have one of those days where EVERYTHING runs smoothly?? Today is my day! I have the dishes done, the laundry folded and everything picked up. Its unusual because I am normally behind the eight ball on Monday as I am sure mostly everyone is. Andrew is already taking a nap now which is definately not normal for him. Scarlett is also sleeping. I do need to get a shower since I am going grocery shopping today but thats not a big deal because I will eventually get one. I have pics of my house in my camera so maybe I can upload them it a little bit. Then I will give you a tour of my house =)

Hubby's Company Picnic
My husband had his company picnic today at his work. He works at Thomas Built Buses. They produce school buses, mini buses, huge commercial buses and every kind of bus in between. You may have seen his logo (which is pictured at top) that goes on the back of every bus. Buses are ordered and have been ordered from every state in the U.S. Just a little background for you! We have so much fun at the company picnic. They have rides, cotton candy, roasted corn, nachos and ice cream. Of course they have hot dogs and hamburgers. We played bingo and you can win really cool prizes. I have won every year since Josh and I were dating... but I didn't win anything this year!!! So sad, LOL. Andrew and I rode a little train that took a tour through the plant and he got a lunch box shaped like a school bus, it is so cute and he loves it. Well, I guess I am going to end the blog post now and get some rest. Have a great night and a great Lord's Day tomorrow!!!

Sad Day
Please pray for a man and wife at our church. Their names are Tim and Brenda Elliott and he lost this son (Brenda is his second wife) due to a drug overdose on Sunday and the viewing is tonight. His name was Langely and he was only 39. He got saved a couple years ago and was doing very well but he got around his old friends and he started doing drugs again. I know it must be hard being addicted to something like that. I have never tried or done any drugs but from stories I have heard it must be terrible. Tim is of course very upset and showed up to Wednesday night prayer service looking devastated. Please pray that tonight God's grace and comfort will be with the family. Langely left behind his wife and his young son. The funeral is tomorrow at 2:00.

Thrift Store Shopping
Okay, let me be honest.. I do not like thrift stores. There I said it! Don't crucify me now, they are okay on SOME levels. But I do not buy my clothes there and I don't dislike people who do, I just don't like buying stuff from there for myself. First off, I am BIG girl. The only clothes I ever see there that I would like to wear (because I love trendy fat girl clothes LOL) would be on a girl at least 3 times smaller than me. Alright maybe not 3 times smaller than me but you get the picture. Mom has been dying to take me to this thrift store that she loves so much so I consented. And I knew full well what I would have to endure so before the adventure I told her straight out we can buy clothes for Andrew and Scarlett but not for me. Josh doesn't care much about what he wears though I don't know any guy who does. Oh wait, my lil bro I forgot about the American Eagle & Etnies only guy. Anyway, we arrive and whats the first thing she wants me to do.. you guessed it. Look for some clothes FOR MYSELF! When I just told her not even 30 seconds before I did not under any circumstance want to. Okay, enough of my story.. y'all have had enough. But we did find great brand name clothes for Andrew, Scarlett and hubby. And I did not get anything for me. Had a great day though.. went shopping, visit Grandparents and got some yogurt. I thank the Lord for everyday he gives me to see my family and friends. I am going to bed now because Scarlett is teething and she hasn't been a happy camper the past few days. She has been waking up in the middle of the night which is horrible but it won't last forever. Good night.

7 Things You Wouldn't Necessarily Know About Me
I recently read a blog that had listed 7 things we would never know about them. So I decided to list my own.. here goes.
1. I got married at 18. Yes, its true.. I got married about 3 months after I graduated high school. Yes, I was immature and too young but I took my vows seriously and still do. When I said "till death do us part" I meant it! My husband and I are "growing up" together and we are so much more mature and grown up then we were three years ago. Believe me!! lol I am so happy that God brought us together and now we have two beautiful children and the promise of more to come.
2. I love motorsports. I grew up around working and racing cars. I can change my own oil, spark plugs, air filters, oil filters, batteries, tires, brakes.. you name it on a car and I can do it. I love watching Nascar and drag racing. I am not your average girl! I have been to many Nascar and drag races and not the local ones the BIG ONES. I just went last Friday to a drag race that almost shakes you out of your seat, the cars go about 330 MPH.
3. I have a little brother named David. Well, he's little to me. He graduated high school in May and turned 18 in July. He bought a brand new Harley and he has two jobs. He is going to school in the spring to be an engineer. He is a tight wad, he only buys what he really needs. I love him!
4. I love watching old 90's shows.. such as Family Matters, Saved by the Bell, Fresh Prince & Home Improvement to name a few. LOVE, LOVE THEM! In fact I am listening to the TV which is playing Family Matters. They don't make good, wholesome shows like this anymore. Most shows that kids watch today talk about sex and drugs. These shows WARNED about sex and drugs. Anyway, I love 'em.
5. Favorite color is blue.
6. I have 5 generations alive right now. My Great Grandma Frady is alive, then my Grandma Frady, then my mom, me and Scarlett. We were in our local paper for having 5 generations living. Its pretty cool I got to meet both my great grandparents. Oh by the way, my Great Grandma Clifton is still living too and she acts like a 30 year old. Does all her own laundry and hangs them on the line. She doesn't rely on a walker or cane. She still cooks everything from scratch and she loves the Lord with all her heart.
7. Last but not least... I have flipped a car. I had a wreck when I was changing the radio station in my car at 16 years old. I looked down for literally one second and as I looked up I realized I was rolling up side down. I flipped 3 times and broke both my arms. I had to be in a cast for about 3 months. It was horrible but now my parents and I look back and laugh. I had my seat belt on and nobody was on the road that day when I was driving it. God was with me even though I was so far from him. Praise the Lord for His grace.

Beauty Sleep
I got to sleep all night! Praise the Lord! My mom and I prayed she would sleep so I would be rested. I have been kinda sluggish today in cleaning but I have got my laundry and kitchen cleaned. Now I am waiting for Andrew to take his nap so I can clean the bathrooms, they need a good scrubbing. Andrew is eating his lunch right now.. some green beans and a hot dog. He loves hot dogs but what kid doesn't?? He has gotten into a bad habit of throwing food on the floor so its been a fight with him this whole week. Well, not a fight because I discipline him but I am constantly having to get on to him. Scarlett is snoozing in her bed. Its the first time I laid her down for a nap in her bed! She normally sleeps in her swing but she is doing just fine in her bed. She is growing up too fast.. she will be 6 months old on September 30th. Well, I guess I will blog later. Church is tonight!

1:45 AM Wake Up Calls
Scarlett has been getting me up at this exact time for the past two days. Since Saturday night she has woken up at least once through the night but went back to sleep. Now she is crying horribly until I come get her. She doesn't go back to bed until about 4:00. I think she might be teething, I gave her some tylenol this afternoon and she was as perfect as can be. She is a GREAT baby she only whines when she is hungry or sleepy and she has been sleeping through for night since she was 7 weeks old (her bro was 5 weeks when he slept through the night). So I am so exhausted!! I did get my cleaning done which was great. I worked on my kitchen counter and moved everything off of it and used some multi-purpose cleaner and santizing spray. I also used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Sponge which did great to get stains on my counter. I have white counter tops which was installed when the house was built, I have no idea who had the idea of white counter tops in a kitchen! I always have stains that get in the surface and the magic eraser is wonderful at getting the stains out. I need to put pics up of my house but I just haven't had time. Maybe I can do that in the near future. Okay, well I am going to get some much needed rest.

Getting In The Swing Of Things
Now that Miss Scarlett is older now and doesn't need as much tending too... I have to get back into using my HMB. Everyone knows what HMB stands for if not it stands for Home Management Binder. I was doing really good while pregnant but as most of you know a new baby has their own schedule and most of your cleaning doesn't get done. I still did my cleaning but it was here and there and definately not in scheduled time frame. Sometimes I would clean at 3 A.M. because Scarlett was wide awake and I had to keep myself awake! I use to use Candy's HMB cleaning schedule and I did really good following that. I just need to change it up a bit since having 2 under 2 is a little different than having 1 to take care of. Candy just put up a Block Schedule and I am now getting one together and then typing and printing it up. If anyone else has an easier schedule other than the block send it to me. I was following a master schedule of routines but that got too crazy so I think a Block Schedule will do good for me. Not a certain times to do this and that but you can get a lot of stuff done within a block of time. I will be posting it as soon as I get it together. Okay, the kiddies are sleeping and its time for me unload and load the dishwasher!

Prison Break Season 4 Episode 3: Shut Down
I am a huge Prison Break fan! I didn't start watching the show until Season 3. My brother kept hounding me about watching the show which at the time I thought was pretty stupid I mean how possible is it to break out of prison?? Then I decided to give the show a try and watched the premiere of Season 3 and then I was hooked! It is action packed with romance peeking around every corner. I have to say it is a well written show. There are only two seasons actually dedicated to "breaking out of prison" the others are of a different nature. I do not think there is anything wrong with TV as long as it does consume your life. TV should not take away from taking care of your children or cleaning the house. The shows I watch come on right before or when my children are in the bed and of course I am not cleaning the house then. I don't let TV take away from spending time with my hubby or my children. Some people think TV is just awful but I think watching TV is okay in moderation. That said.. tonight is episode 3 of Season 4 "Shut Down" I am excited! My friend Stefany who is on vacation now usually comes on and watches Prison Break with me on Monday nights. She is a friend from church, I love her to death! Here are some screen shots from tonight's episode. Type later!

My Weekend
Sorry I haven't posted anything up I have been so busy! Friday my Grandma came over for a visit so the kids and I had fun with her. Hubby, the kids and I spent the afternoon together and played some games. And on Saturday my grandma and grandpa went with us to the farmer's market and it was great! We bought okra, corn, squash, eggplant, sweet peppers, zucchini and a watermelon. So we are set with vegetables for a while. Oh and we bought some fresh sourdough bread. I want to learn to make bread I have been looking at Candy's blog and other blogs to find what is the easiest bread to make. I need a beginner bread recipe! Anybody who knows of one just send it to me. Today is Sunday so of course I am going to church. Everybody is down for their naps, I wasn't tired so I just stayed up. Well, I guess I will post more up if I get anything. Oh, please pray for my pastor's wife, her grandmother passed away Thursday. Thanks.

A Little Bit About Me
My name is Sarah and I am a Blood-Bought KJV Bible Believing Christian! That said, I am also a wife to my wonderful husband, Joshua and we have been married for 3 years. I am also a stay at home mom to two beautiful children. Andrew is almost two and Scarlett is 5 months old. They are my heart and soul! I have been attending our church since.. well before I was born! Well, not really but you get the picture. So I guess 21 years. My husband has also grown up in our church, Trulite Baptist Church in North Carolina. It is not a very big church with only about 100 people reguarly attending services. Josh's grandpa started the church in 1961 and tragically died in 2001 due to a heart attack. He is missed dearly. Shortly before that he told us he was going to retire. He had prayed for many months what God would want him to do and he felt he was in the Will of God. He had an assistant pastor come in before he gave over the church completely. Then just 3 weeks later he died of a heart attack. I know it was God's Will and that Pastor Jeff was God's man for our church. I love church and I am so excited to go everytime I get the chance! I posted the link to our website so you can check our church out! I am in the photo gallery with my baby girl.. I hate the pic but they put it up there anyway! LOL
